Flamboyant Italians, crazy breakaways, epic espresso, the Dolomites, Dan Sharp’s photography, images of Pantani as a Saint. I love the Giro. I miss Italy and can’t wait to go back. Raise a glass to Marco and the Giro.

It has been a very busy two weeks in the shop with 150 lbs. of material hitting the door and hustling to turn it into 24 bicycles in 2 weeks. Of course the weather was shit while the tubing was stuck in customs and on the day it landed, it turned 70 and sunny. With the big door open to soak up as much sunshine as possible, we set to work sorting tubes for each bike into boxes and started laying out tubes and brazing dropouts to chainstays. TIG welding seems so fast when you don’t have to preheat joints or soak the flux off afterwards and it ends up looking great on the finished bike. We are finishing up the frames with seatstays this week and building all the steel forks before they head to paint. The sun continues to shine and we hope to enjoy a little riding soon.
